Spiritual Day

 

Theme: Teddy Bear Sunday

Attire:School uniform worn to mass for dress down pass

1.      11:30 Teddy Bear Mass at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church

2.       Come to mass with your family and bring a teddy bear

3.       Students read and participate during mass

MONDAY

Grandparents’ Day


Theme: Faith in Families

Attire: School uniforms

1.      Grandparents’ breakfast

2.      Pictures with your grandparent

3.      Grandparent's school tour

4.      Wear silly socks after lunch

TUESDAY

Parents’ Day


Theme: God is wild about us


Attire: Wild hair (no colors) animal shirt or animal print with jeans or uniform

1.       8th grade teach-in

2.      8th vs. faculty kickball game

3.      Random dancing

4.      Write a thank you note to your parents for sending you to a Catholic school

WEDNESDAY

Community Day

 

Theme: Look for Jesus in others


Attire: School Uniform

1.       Join us for Mass at 8:30

2.      Notes with Lifesavers passed out after mass

3.      Open House from 9-1 pm

4.      Wear sunglasses and hats after mass

5.      Faculty brain bowl

THURSDAY

Students’  Day

Theme: Get movie-ing!

Attire: PE uniforms

1.       Walk to the movies to see  Beauty and the Beast 3D

2.      Pizza lunch- $3.50

3.      Ice cream sundaes

4.      Board games

5.      Talent Show 7 pm in Parish Center

FRIDAY

Teachers’ Day


Theme: Take care of your heart

Attire: Red shirt/PE shorts

1.       Bring $2 for Italian Ice

2.      Jump Rope for Heart (K-4) and Hoops for Heart (5-8) from 9-11 am

3.      Noon Dismissal

With each flyer presented on Blessed Sacrament Catholic School night, Chili’s will donate 10% of the sales to BSCS.
